I didn’t sleep well last night. I lost track of how many times I woke up to do a frustrating toss-and-turn routine before drifting off only to wake up again minutes later.
I couldn’t fall back to sleep after the sun rose and I just lounged in bed all morning. Breakfast in bed sounds luxurious, but when it’s just a microwaved leftover sandwich, it’s not as fancy as it sounds.
I was hoping all that lazing around would make up for my restless night, but when I finally got out of bed around noon, I was still feeling meh. Not much happened around the house today – I had hoped to do a few loads of laundry but I decided to save my “spoons” for this evening.
We’re going to see Phantom of the Opera in a couple of hours (tickets for this show were my big birthday present this year)! I’m super excited about the play, but a little anxious about the crowds. Apparently, March Madness has begun in Nashville, which means the traffic downtown is gonna suuuuuuck. Crowds and traffic make me anxious. Thankfully, I’m familiar with the playhouse, so I won’t have to worry about figuring out where the bathrooms and exits are. (That’s my priority whenever I’m in a new place: locate bathrooms & exits, and THEN figure out where I’m supposed to sit. #crohnsproblems)
We stopped by Josh’s family’s for dinner before the play, and I am rudely glued to my phone trying to type this up quickly… so I’m gonna go now. Sorry for any typos or rambly bits.
That’s what’s up with me today. What’s up with you guys?
