Currently (or: finally out of bed!)

Singing.. I’ve had Tessa Violet’s Bird Song stuck in my head since she posted the video on YouTube two weeks ago. I keep humming and singing and whistling and I just love it so much! It’s my favorite song right now.

Organizing.. Josh spent yesterday reorganizing his office to make room for a new piece of equipment. It looks nice in there. Also, I caught up on organizing our finances yesterday/today. It’s awesome to feel productive for the first time in about 2 weeks.

Looking forward to.. having friends over tonight for dinner & Survivor! Usually we go to their house on Wednesday nights, but I haven’t been in a few weeks because I’ve been sick. I’m still not back to 100%, so Josh invited them to our place this week. Originally, I think Josh was going to surprise me, but he decided to let me in on it so I wouldn’t be caught completely off guard with greasy hair and a messy house haha. I’m really excited! I haven’t seen anyone outside of family in weeks!

Happy.. to be mostly up and about today! Josh has been tidying up the house today and I’ve had enough energy to help out with some of the smaller things. I even went outside for a little to hang out with Lulu! I’m back in bed again now to rest up before our friends are here, but it’s done wonders for my attitude to feel mildly helpful again.

I have some food in my teeth here so that’s cool.

Thankful for.. my Mom-in-law. She always makes sure we’re both taken care of when I’m out of commission. She gave Josh a big bag of bone broth for me to help with my healing, and she picked up some food for us when she was at Sam’s the other day, right when we were running out of our stock. And she’s making dinner tonight for us so nobody has to worry about it. I’m so grateful for her.

I’m also thankful for my comfy bed, heating pads, bone broth, and friends who are willing to change plans in order to see me 🙂

What are you currently singing, organizing, happy about, looking forward to, and/or thankful for this week?
