Over It

I was starting to feel a lot better earlier this week; I even spent more time out of bed and had enough energy to do some small chores around the house, but today i feel pretty awful again. So that’s cool! 🙄

I don’t feel like writing much today, but I hope everyone is having a nice weekend! I’m spending mine watching period dramas on Netflix, drinking lots of fluids/avoiding solid foods, and listening to my favorite Relient K album on shuffle.

  1. I’m so sorry you feel terrible again, Kelli. Although I don’t have a chronic illness, this week I’ve been in the same boat as you and there is nothing stronger than just wishing to feel BETTER. Speaking of period dramas, which is your favorite? Mine is The Paradise. I think you would like it.

    • Funny you should mention The Paradise! it’s been in my recommended titles on Netflix but I hadn’t tried it yet because it was a TV series (I’ve been watching more movies lately). But with your recommendation, I will give it a chance.

I’m not very good at choosing favorites. I enjoyed a suspenseful one I watched yesterday called “the making of a lady”, and of course I LOVED Downton Abbey.

I hope you feel better quickly!

  2. Woke up to a phone call informing us that a drunk driver hit a building we own. Thankfully no one was hurt.
And on top of that it SNOWED. in April. No thank you. 😷
Kelli, hoping for a better day tomorrow for you!! 💜

  3. I’m sorry that you were not feeling well yesterday. I will continue to pray.

I enjoy period dramas as well. Bleak House is one of my favorites (with Gillian Anderson). It’s a little dark, which is typical of Dickens, but what a great story!
