Cooking.. I tried Nutrition Stripped’s recipe for Grain-Free Walnut Bread yesterday. It’s completely delicious, but I must have done something wrong because I didn’t get anywhere near the height she got in her photos. My bread is dense and too small for sandwiches. But it’s really freakin’ tasty and I already know that I’ll make it again.
Enjoying.. Yoga! I’ve done some simple beginner’s yoga four days in a row, and I’m honestly surprised at how much I’m enjoying it. I thought I would have to really force myself to do it every day, but that hasn’t been my experience so far. Fingers crossed that I can keep that attitude!
Feeling.. SO MUCH BETTER THAN I DID! I have so much energy, I almost don’t know what to do with myself. (Don’t worry, I’m still taking things slow and listening when my body tells me to rest – trust me, I know how important that is). I’m still not entirely comfortable leaving the house unless it’s my in-law’s, but I’ve been immeasurably more productive in the last few days than I was even before getting ill.
sucks. Yesterday I sat down to balance the budget for April and it inexplicably wouldn’t balance. So frustrating! Long story short, we made some transcription errors, but DANG was it irritating in the moment. We have a great budgeting program that makes the whole process super simple, but it can only be so helpful when you’ve made a mistake on your end of things, ha.
Thankful for.. sandal weather, Amazon 2-day shipping, lavender, my himalayan salt lamp, boiled eggs, feeling motivated, Adriene, productive days, being able to laugh with Josh even during frustrating conversations, having energy back in abundance, and coconut oil making my hair soft & shiny.
